Newham Swimming Club List of Fees
Below you will find an explanation of the fees payable by everyone who swims with Newham Swimming Club. The fess listed apply as from 1 January 2010. There are reductions available for families with 2 or more swimmers: click here or scroll further down the page to go to the list of reductions available. to help you work out your joining fees and renewal costs. plus a description of each one. Newham Swimming Club Fees consist of the following:
- Newham Swimming Club membership fee, currently set at £26 for 2010, and payable annually in January
- ASA membership fee, currently set at £26 for 2010 (reductions apply), and payable annually in January
- Monthly club fee, rate according to squad
Annual Club Membership Fee
- Combined with the approriate ASA registration fee the Annual Membership fee provides membership of Newham Swimming Club and ASA registration for 12 months for 1 child and one parent.
- The fee is payable each year in January, and reductions apply depending on what month of the year a child joins the club (see table of reductions below).
- The full annual fee is payable if a child joins in December, but will be carried forward to the next year, meaning December swimming is free
- Reductions are available depending on what point a child joins during the year, and also when another child from the same family joins with the club.
- A second parent may also join for a small additional charge.
ASA Registration Fee
- The annual ASA fee is required before any child is allowed to swim in any club training sessions or any competitions in which the Swimming Club is competing.
- As of January 2010 every swimmer in Newham Swimming Club now pays the higher rate of ASA membership in order to ensure that all swimmers in all squads are eligible for participation in galas
Monthly Club Fee
- The monthly club fee, normally arranged through standing order, contributes to the cost of hiring the pools Newham swimming Club uses for its training sessions and for any galas hosted by the club.
- No fee is charged for August because of the varying training schedule during this month each year. If you pay by standing order, rather than ask you to alter your standing order or make arrangements to refund the August payment the club puts this money towards your annual Club membership renewal.
Masters fee
- For adult swimmers
- Available to Masters and students in year 9 and above.
- Includes ASA category 1 registration
Sessional fee
For those who do not swim regularly a book of 10 tickets is available, one to be used per session
